A wonderful day. A blessed day. A reminder of what it feels like to be out as a family of 5 again. Small. Quaint. The pause-in-time-kind-of-moment we all needed.
Caden was absolutely perfect and beautiful. Grayson stole the show any chance he got, in a good way. We did our usual-monitoring of his skin color, temperament, everything. He ate decent and fell asleep in my arms at dinner. The meal was fantastic-Vince's Italian place down the street. We stayed close to home and kept it short and sweet. It was about all we could handle energy-wise anyway. It was a nice departure from our usual though. Triston had a blast catching up with his friends and family. It was so nice to see that smile on his face outside of our home and his school.
A day to be with family. A day to remember God. A day to remember the importance of those beginning stages in Caden's religious journey. God bless my baby boy, Caden.
