I LOVE...

- watching these two boys play. It bounces from the 2 of them playing together, G following T's every move TO Grayson just observing and then waiting for Triston's back to turn so he can try it out on his own TO them drifting off on their own to solitary play. The humor and planning and thought that goes into it is intriguing.
- how much Grayson loves avocados! he is my avocado buddy. i probably eat 4-5 a week. Caden is gonna come out looking like an avocado!
- as annoying as it is...how T asks (and wakes!) G every morning if he wants to see mommy! First I hear G say, "no no no no" then I hear T ask "are you sure?" then G says "morning, mommy" as they waddle out of their room together and run to my side of the bed. too cute!
- G's love of trains...thanks to his big bro. He also loves cars and trucks and airplanes, too. Typical boy. I love how he says it, too -"twaaaiiins!" And so far it is not a SOLE love of Thomas...thank goodness! It is any type of train. I hate Thomas.
- How intently G listens in on T's conversations w us and then near the end chimes in a word or two from the dissertation just to show hes in on it all. He tries so hard to be like us. He is NOT allowed to grow up that fast on me!
- How G asks for "baby" and pulls up my shirt to give Caden "hi pives" (hi fives).
- how tiny you both look in your big boy beds.
- watching the two of you eat. You each have your own way of tackling your meal all the while G peeking in on T's strategies n copying some of those goofy moves.
- how G raises his voice to a high pitch baby-ese tone when talking to Bryley. My boys adore their big sis. Do I dare get a puppy to add to the mix?
- How independent my kids are. I know this took alot on my part and even when I didnt think I was doing anything at all (thats when the organization freak took over my body in daily spurts and possessed my children). I just mention lets get dressed and wallah T is getting his clothes on followed by teeth brushing and whatever else leads to the next activity. G goes n gets a diaper and finds his pile of clothes and meets up in the bathroom to "wass" (wash) beside us at the sink. Then asks for his "soooos" (shoes). My mini robots working it out (most of the time!). We all have those days where we are yelling TO GET READY NOW, right? Right? Im not alone, right?
- G assumes that anytime we are in the living room the"TB" (tv) must be on. It is automatic for him. Just like T they both seem to need that background noise. I hate background noise!
- how someway the kids (when in good playing modes) have come with a trade system. Deviously began as Ts way to get something G took from him but it works. T knows to just find something similar to trade off and G usually is content with the choices. I hear T say, "wanna have a trade, Grayson?" G respectively says yes, even tho he may not even know what hes getting himself into at that exact second. Oh the conversations I hear!
- how G yells out random letters when he want to spell his name or Triston's name from your name boards on the bedroom door.
- when G sees letters or words of any kind he sings ABCs and when he sees numbers anywhere he rote counts.
- listening to T read books to G. G hangs onto all his words in a sweet way.
- their giggles, only T can make G bust out a belly gut laugh the way he does!
