You know when you are in the dumps and you need that boost and it comes from the most unexpected place or time? I arrived home to this emotional boost one day when I SO needed it! Gosh, I miss my parents SO MUCH! They need to sell that home ASAP! They soon have 6 grandkids and 4 kiddie adults waiting for them!!

I never want to forget...
- The way Caden looks at my dad
- Crying episodes with T, we both need them together it seems
- The way G says I love you
- The amazing people-old and new-who have remained in our lives since July 31
- What an easy baby Caden is
- No matter what T n G are facing they still strengthen their bond further as each day passes. Caden has even joined the circus!
- They way Caden can freeze time with his smile
- How lucky I am
- That feeling of complete when I held Caden for the first time, a complete fish family
- The unique birth of each and every one of my boys. Each fish swam to me in their own way
- The way Triston needs me, he is my first, a mommy needed feeling that never subsides
- That chipmunk grin of G's on steroids
- Our lives before leukemia, particulary Triston's
- Who he is now...and the deeper personality that rushed to the surface when leukemia hit
- Who Grayson was before leukemia
- The clown personality G envelopes.
- How the boys luv up on Bryley and use her as a pillow so many times througout the day.
- The way G imitates everything and anything T does. He really does admire him even at 21 mos
- Listening and watching Grayson sing, "Yabby, yabby do do" and plop to the floor as he sings his version of Ring Round the Rosey.
- Thinking...G kinda walks like a monkey, with his arms up in the air like that.
- Reading "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything" together as a family and watching T AND even G complete the actions for the story. So impressed to see G copy the moves! This book will forever be memorable to me now.
- The way Grayson says, "da du" for thank you...for everything!
- The way every little thing Triston does excites Grayson. Brotherhood is amazing to watch unfold
- When Triston says, " Mommy, I want to be the guy that dances with the princess!" One day you will meet your princess (or prince), baby boy.
- Grayson's smirky smiles and snorty laughs
- The evening Triston and Bryley raced to meet daddy at the back door while Triston yelled, "Bryley! Bryley! Me first, me first! I want to hug daddy first!" And to think it was only 3 yrs ago that Charito said, "I can't wait for the day Triston greets me at the door!" Well, now he has 2 racing for his attention and fighting for first dibs!
- Triston's facial expression when he saw the Polar Express at the MSI.
- How much I MISS being pregnant...number three, please.
- How wonderful Bryley Willow Cacal is with our boys. So lovey dovey!
- The first week of January and the early night silence in our home...priceless.
- The number of penis talks we have had with Triston...and he is only 3!
- 2009 The way Grayson has begun this quiet little laugh and greets me with that huge smile. It is like fireworks going off inside me!
- How Triston thinks he is "not sick anymore" just because he is not puking. He yelled it to the rooftops when daddy walked in the door this evening.
- Bryley truly is a best friend to Triston. I overheard him tell her, "Come on Bry! Let's play. Don't be shy!"
- When T asks, "wanna smell my feet?"
- When Triston awoke from his nap today and declared, "Today is my special day and it is called migration!" Is he moving away already? I CAN WAIT til college, plz.
- Singing "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid aka "Ariel's World" with Triston at bedtime. He also just taught me some pirate song he made up. Very cute!
- T playing doctor on my belly when I was pregnant. He copied everything he saw at the doctor office.He still wants to check the "baby belly" but then when he is done he races around the house making sure Grayson is still around. I think my stretch marks remind him of those days.
- The first time Triston kissed Grayson goodnite. True acknowledgement that G was here to stay and T was comfy enuf to add him to this bedtime ritual. G even got his kiss before Bry.
- When T calls me, "Best Friends Mommy" and "Princess Mommy"
- The Field Museum will always be known to us Carpers as the "Animal Jungle"
- The frowns Grayson throws my way lately. What is he thinking? Probably "crazy lady". As Auntie Amy says, "Iron out those wrinkles" as she rubs the forehead.
- When T has to poop he asks for a hug-"a hug for poop,Mom." Who doesn't want someone by their side to help bare down?!
- Triston refers to me as "Captain Mom" and therefore I refer to him as "First Mate Triston" -can u tell we are into pirates these days?! Hence the Pirate themed bday party.
